The Luton DART

The Luton DART opened in March 2023 and replaces the former shuttle bus service. It runs from Luton Airport Parkway station to the Terminal station, directly in front of London Luton Airport. It provides a quicker and more convenient transfer for passengers traveling to and from the airport.

If you don’t have a combined ticket through to Luton Airport, you’ll need to buy a separate ticket for the DART and costs £4.90 per adult. You can conveniently choose to include the DART fare, so you don’t need to pay separately by booking your ticket to/from Luton Airport when booking, rather than Luton Airport Parkway.

Children under the age of 5 are free.

For children aged between 5-15 years old, the price of a ticket is £2.45 (half the price of an adult ticket).

Concessionary fares are available for specific users such as those with a registered disability badge or if you’re a Luton resident. You can apply for a concession account which enables you to purchase up to 4 single adult tickets per day with 50% off directly on the Luton DART website.

If you purchased your ticket directly through the Luton DART website, you won’t be able to get a refund.

If you purchased a combined train and DART ticket in advance, you may be eligible for a refund if any part of your journey is delayed or cancelled.

If you have an Anytime, Off-Peak or Super Off-Peak combined ticket, you can claim a refund if you don’t travel but a £10 fee will apply.

The Luton DART takes you directly from Luton Airport Parkway station to the airport in under four minutes. The Luton DART leaves the station for London Luton Airport every four minutes during peak times and and up to every 7 minutes during off-peak times.

Peak hours are 06.00 – 09.30 and 14.00 – 18.00 daily.
